1. Introduction & Scope

Urbanriseapparel recognizes that order details may need adjustment after checkout. This Cancel / Change Order Policy governs all requests to modify or cancel an order placed through our official online store at https://urbanriseapparel.shop/. We provide clear timelines, zero fees for timely cancellations, and straightforward procedures for changes to size, color, shipping address, or item quantity.

All orders are subject to a one (1) business day handling period with a strict cut‑off time of 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday through Friday. Cancellation or change requests received before the cut‑off on the same business day will be honored at no charge. Requests received after the cut‑off or after the order has been dispatched cannot be guaranteed.

2. Cancellation Request Timeline & Eligibility

You may request to cancel your order entirely or remove specific items. The table below outlines your cancellation rights based on when we receive your request.

Important: Once a shipping label is generated and a tracking number is assigned, the order is considered dispatched. At that stage, cancellation is impossible. You may refuse the package upon delivery or follow our Return & Refund Policy (30‑day return window, no restocking fees).

3. Cancellation Window by Order Placement Time

The following table illustrates the last possible moment to request a guaranteed, fee‑free cancellation based on when you placed your order.

Note: All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST). Federal holidays extend deadlines to the next business day.

4. Changing an Order (Size, Color, Address, Items)

You may request to modify an existing order without canceling. Allowable changes include:

• Product size (e.g., change from Medium to Large)
• Product color (subject to availability)
• Shipping address (corrections only; changing to a different state may affect shipping time)
• Adding or removing items from the same order

Deadline for Changes: The same cut‑off applies: 5:00 PM EST on the business day the order was placed (or the next business day if placed after cut‑off). Changes requested after the cut‑off cannot be guaranteed.

Fees for Changes: Urbanriseapparel does not charge any administrative fee for order changes. However, if you add items, you will be charged for those items at the current price. If you remove items, a refund for those items will be processed within 7 business days.

5. How to Submit a Request

To cancel or change your order, you must contact Urbanriseapparel Customer Support via email only (to ensure a written timestamp). Phone requests are not accepted.

Step‑by‑Step:

1. Send an email to support@urbanriseapparel.shop with the subject line: “CANCEL REQUEST – [Order Number]” or “CHANGE REQUEST – [Order Number]”
2. Include your full name, order number, and the specific change you require (e.g., “Change size from M to L on the ‘Urban Rise Hoodie – Black’”).
3. If changing the shipping address, provide the complete corrected address in standard USPS format.
4. You will receive a confirmation email within 2 business hours (during working hours) acknowledging receipt of your request.

Confirmation Required: Your cancellation or change is not final until you receive a confirmation email from us stating “CANCELLATION CONFIRMED” or “CHANGE CONFIRMED.” If you do not receive confirmation within 4 business hours (during Monday‑Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST), please follow up.

6. Refunds for Canceled Orders

When a cancellation request is approved before the cut‑off:

• Full refund of the product price(s) and any taxes paid.
• Full refund of the $6.99 flat rate shipping fee (if already charged).
• No restocking fees, no cancellation fees, no processing fees.

Refunds are processed within 7 business days of the cancellation confirmation. The refund will be credited to the original payment method. If you paid with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued.

7. Partial Cancellation (Removing One Item)

You may cancel a single product from a multi‑item order. The remaining items will continue processing normally. The refund for the canceled item will be issued within 7 business days. The original $6.99 shipping fee is not refunded for partial cancellations because the order still ships.

Example: You order two hoodies ($45 each) + $6.99 shipping = $96.99 total. You cancel one hoodie before the cut‑off. Your refund = $45. The remaining hoodie ships with the original $6.99 shipping. No additional shipping charges apply.

8. Cut‑off Time & Business Days Defined

Cut‑off Time: 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday through Friday. Orders placed at 5:00 PM EST sharp are considered after cut‑off for same‑day cancellation purposes.

Business Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, excluding federal holidays observed by USPS, UPS, and FedEx (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

Handling Time: 1 business day. This is the time from order confirmation to carrier pickup. Cancellation requests must be received before handling begins (i.e., before the cut‑off on the day of order placement, or before cut‑off on the next business day if ordered after cut‑off).

9. Pre‑orders & Backorders

If you purchase a T‑shirt or hoodie that is on pre‑order or backorder, you may cancel at any time before the item ships. The same cut‑off logic does not apply because handling has not begun. To cancel a pre‑order, email support@urbanriseapparel.shop with your order number. You will receive a full refund within 7 business days, including any shipping charges paid.

10. If a Cancellation Request Fails

On rare occasions, your cancellation request may be received after our fulfillment team has already picked, packed, or labeled the order. In such cases, we will notify you within 2 hours that the cancellation could not be honored. You then have two options:

• Accept the shipment and initiate a return under our 30‑day Return & Refund Policy. Return shipping is at your expense (unless the item is defective).
• Refuse delivery – When the carrier attempts delivery, you may refuse the package. Once it is returned to our facility, we will issue a refund for the product(s) minus the original $6.99 shipping fee (non‑refundable for refused deliveries unless our error).
